Tiny Prayers — Privacy Policy

Tiny Prayers: With You (“Tiny Prayers,” “the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is designed to provide a private place for prayer.

Prayer intentions, personal concerns, saved prayers, and spiritual reflections can be deeply personal. Our goal is to collect as little information as practical and keep personal prayer information on your device whenever possible.

This Privacy Policy explains what information Tiny Prayers handles, where it is processed, why it is used, and what choices you have.

1. Our Privacy Principles

Tiny Prayers is designed around the following principles:

• no account is required to pray;
• prayer intentions should remain on your device whenever practical;
• personal prayer content is not sent to analytics;
• personal prayer content is not used for advertising;
• personal prayer content is not sold;
• artificial intelligence should run on the device whenever supported;
• we collect only limited technical and usage information needed to understand and improve the App.

2. Personal Prayer Content

Tiny Prayers may allow you to enter, generate, save, or store information including:

• prayer intentions;
• generated prayers;
• saved prayers;
• prayer history;
• people or situations you pray about;
• reflection-related information;
• spiritual growth progress; and
• other personal information you voluntarily enter.

This content is treated as private user content.

The current Tiny Prayers architecture is designed to store this information locally on your device rather than in a Tiny Prayers cloud account.

Tiny Prayers does not operate a server-side account containing your prayer history.

We do not send your prayer intentions, generated prayers, saved prayers, Scripture text, reflection text, or other free-form spiritual content to Firebase Analytics.

3. Artificial Intelligence

Tiny Prayers may use Apple's Foundation Models and Apple Intelligence capabilities to help generate prayer wording.

On supported configurations, prayer generation is designed to use Apple's model infrastructure available through the operating system rather than sending your prayer intention to a Tiny Prayers-operated AI server.

Tiny Prayers does not currently operate its own cloud service for receiving prayer intentions and generating prayers.

Availability of these features can depend on your device, operating-system version, language, Apple Intelligence availability, and Apple's applicable services.

If Tiny Prayers later introduces a cloud AI provider or otherwise transmits prayer content to a third party, this Privacy Policy and the App will be updated to clearly disclose that behavior before such information is transmitted.

4. Analytics

With your permission, Tiny Prayers may use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the App is being used and to improve reliability, usability, and product decisions.

Analytics may process limited technical and usage information such as:

• app launches and usage events;
• feature interactions;
• app version and build number;
• general device and operating-system information;
• an app or installation identifier;
• technical information associated with the request; and
• approximate or coarse geographic information that may be derived from network information by the analytics provider.

Tiny Prayers custom analytics events are intentionally designed not to contain your private spiritual content.

We do not intentionally send Firebase Analytics:

• prayer intentions;
• generated prayers;
• saved prayers;
• names entered into prayer content;
• notes;
• Scripture text or references;
• reflection text;
• reflection prompts;
• AI prompts;
• AI-generated prayer output; or
• other free-form spiritual content.

Analytics information is used to understand broad product behavior, such as whether features are used, whether a prayer flow succeeds, and whether users encounter particular parts of the App.

Analytics consent

Analytics collection is optional.

Tiny Prayers will not enable optional Firebase Analytics collection until you choose to allow it.

You may later withdraw that permission from Tiny Prayers Settings. Turning analytics off prevents future optional analytics collection from the App.

Declining analytics does not prevent you from using Tiny Prayers or Tiny Prayers Plus.

5. Purchases and Subscriptions

Tiny Prayers Plus subscriptions are processed using Apple's StoreKit and App Store In-App Purchase system.

Apple handles payment information such as your payment method and billing details.

Tiny Prayers does not receive your full credit-card or payment-card information.

The App may receive information from Apple needed to determine whether you have an active subscription or are entitled to subscription features.

Apple's handling of purchase and account information is governed by Apple's applicable privacy policies and terms.

6. Notifications

Tiny Prayers may offer optional local prayer reminders.

The App requests notification permission only when notification functionality is requested.

You can decline notification permission and continue using the core App.

You can revoke or change notification permission through iOS Settings.

Reminder preferences and scheduled local notifications may be stored or managed on your device.

7. Information We Do Not Require

Tiny Prayers does not require you to create an account simply to pray.

The App does not require you to provide information such as:

• your legal name;
• date of birth;
• denomination;
• religious affiliation;
• email address;
• phone number; or
• precise geographic location

as a condition of using the core prayer experience.

We do not request access to your contacts simply to generate a prayer.

8. Third-Party Services

Tiny Prayers currently uses limited third-party or platform services that may process information necessary to provide their functionality.

These include:

Apple

Apple provides App Store distribution, StoreKit subscriptions, notification services, operating-system functionality, and Apple Intelligence/Foundation Models functionality where available.

Google Analytics for Firebase

If you consent to analytics, Google processes limited technical and app-usage information on our behalf to provide analytics reporting.

We require third-party services used by Tiny Prayers to handle data in accordance with their applicable privacy and security obligations.

Tiny Prayers does not authorize third parties to use your private prayer content for advertising.

9. Advertising and Sale of Personal Information

Tiny Prayers does not currently contain third-party advertising.

We do not sell your prayer intentions or prayer history.

We do not use prayer intentions, generated prayers, saved prayers, Scripture, or other free-form spiritual content to build advertising profiles.

If Tiny Prayers' advertising or data-sharing practices materially change in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated and additional permission will be requested where required.

10. Retention and Deletion

Prayer content

Prayer information stored locally remains on your device until it is deleted through available App functionality, removed through normal device or App data management, or the App is uninstalled.

Tiny Prayers does not maintain a separate server copy of locally stored prayer history.

Information stored on your device may also be included in device backups managed by Apple depending on your iCloud or device backup settings. Those backups are controlled by Apple and your device settings.

Analytics

Analytics information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to understand App usage and improve the product, subject to the retention settings and policies applicable to Google Analytics.

Because Tiny Prayers does not require an account, analytics information generally is not associated with a Tiny Prayers user profile containing your name or email address.

You can stop future optional analytics collection from Tiny Prayers Settings.

Deletion requests

You may contact us with a privacy or deletion request.

Because Tiny Prayers does not maintain an account containing your locally stored prayer information, we may not possess a server-side copy that we can identify or delete.

We will respond to requests concerning information under our control as required by applicable law.

11. Security

Tiny Prayers uses the security and data-protection capabilities provided by iOS and Apple's application sandbox to protect locally stored information.

No system can guarantee absolute security.

We minimize risk by avoiding unnecessary transmission of personal prayer content and by limiting the information sent to external services.

12. Children's Privacy

Tiny Prayers is not designed to solicit personal identifying information from children.

The App does not require users to provide a name, age, email address, or account in order to use the core prayer experience.

Parents and guardians should supervise a minor's use of Tiny Prayers when appropriate.

If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to us outside the local App experience, such as through a support request, please contact us so that we can address the request as required by applicable law.

13. International Processing

Third-party providers such as Apple and Google may process limited information in countries other than the country where you live.

Where required, those providers and Tiny Prayers use applicable legal and security safeguards for international data processing.

14. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, privacy laws may give you rights relating to personal information, including rights to:

• request access;
• request correction;
• request deletion;
• object to or restrict certain processing; or
• withdraw consent.

You may withdraw optional analytics consent at any time through Tiny Prayers Settings.

For information held directly by Apple or Google under their own services, you may also need to use the privacy controls provided by those companies.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Tiny Prayers changes, when we introduce new technology, or when legal requirements change.

The latest version will be published on this page with its effective date.

If we introduce a material change involving the handling of private prayer content, we will provide additional notice or request permission where required.
